Better Late than never

Wow, I can't believe I haven't blogged in almost a week...Being sick is not fun stuff...So my week went by pretty slowly, while feeling like crap as I got a really bad cold this week. Monday-Thursday I did pretty much nothing. I went to the doctors appointment Tuesday and waited for a hour and a half. Note to self, find better doctors office. Friday I went back to work for the first time in like 3 days. Pretty busy most the day. My boss was there from Grand Rapids, got free lunch, woot woot, and then went to a scrapbooking party after work. Was really fun doing crafty projects i love, and so i'm going to host a party in may as well! lol. Today i had my first costa rica missions trip meeting this morning with the small group going. So awesome to meet everyone, talk about things we might do, and just get inspired from God about the trip. I'm so excited to go. I've never done a missions before and am hoping for an awesome turn out. i hope i can spread gods word in a different country. What an amazing feeling that could be. Today i'm going to celebrate a friend of mines 21 birthday at dinner with friends, and then to the Gathering at our church of 2 hours of songs and worship. pretty much it for today. Gotta hit the books and study for a stats test on monday. Hopefully i'll get better at posting everyday.

Easter Weekend with the Fam

So, i can't believe I haven't posted in 4 days. I need to get into a habit of blogging. It doesn't help i don't have wireless when i go home. Anyways, This weekend was super busy, fun, and sort of crappy. I totally got to spend time with my sister who i rarely see which was amazing. I miss how we used to be, so when she's home i value the time we have. I also got to meet her boyfriend while we were home. I'm totally syked i got to finish LOST season one while i was home. That show is totally addicting. I am now on season 2. So the crappy thing about this weekend is that i'm beginning to get a cold, which i think i got from the girl at my office i work at. Other than that, it was a pretty good weekend. I better get going its late and I have class tomorrow! yuck!

I got Lost in Season 1 of Lost

So, thanks to my sister, i've been addicted to watching season 1 of the Lost series t.v. show, so i can catch up to where she is in season 3. So after school today, i spent most my day packing to go home this weekend and watched 5! episodes of lost. If you haven't seen the show, don't start watching it because once you start, you have to keep finding out what happens next. Anyways, today was an o.k. day at school. Statistics wasn't too bad today, what she was talking about seems pretty easy right now. My New testament literature class seems like its never going to end. The professor goes on and on, and were never going to get through at LEAST the 4 gospels, because she's so slow on moving through scripture. Econ wasn't too bad either, we spent most the hour doing this packet of examples in our group. It was pretty easy, and then the rest of the hour he just went over it and gave us the answers. So all in all it wasn't bad, until i found out tonight, the apartment i thought i was going to be staying in, I might not be. So, the people who are living there currently are looking for 2 new roomates for the fall, and i thought one of my friends who lives there said there would be no problem for me to stay. But the other girl, whom i know, talked to some other girls who wanted to live there, so now i'm not sure if they're going to pick me or not, and trying to look for an apartment and more roomates now is going to be very stressful. So, my night has been on the phone with my mom, and friends, letting them know to just keep me in their prayers that God will work everything out. He has a plan for me, and I know in the end he will do what is right, but you have to learn that God has your plan, not you, so you need to let go, and learn to put your Faith in God's hands. I'm super excited for tomorrow, go to work, and then come home and go to bottom line. But after bottom line, I'm driving to Detroit to pick up my awesome sister, who i feel like i haven't seen in forever!! I'm super excited. I better get going though, Its late and i'm going to be on the road a lot tomorrow. Thank goodness for Biggby's and Starbucks. Anyways, good night!
